Free taxi service during the construction work from March 2026
Copy link to this sectionTherefore, for passengers with reduced mobility in a wheelchair or with a walking frame from Sunday, 1 March 2026, a free "station transfer" will be available. A wheelchair-accessible taxi will run between Löbau (Sachs) or Gersdorf (Görlitz) and Görlitz railway station by wheelchair-accessible taxi.
From 13 July 2026, the service will be extended to Cottbus and Zittau
Copy link to this sectionFrom 13 July 2026, passengers with reduced mobility travelling between Cottbus and Görlitz will be able to use the free station transfer service provided by a wheelchair-accessible taxi. Between Görlitz and Zittau, the accessible bus route 12 operates during the day (download timetable for DB Regio Bus Ost). Outside of bus operating hours, a wheelchair-accessible taxi is also available by prior arrangement.
Prerequisite for the station transfer is to register 24 hours before the journey via the Mobility Service Centre.
