The buses are expected to depart from the Kiel Hbf Kaistraße stop.

Bridge renewal works will take place around Kiel Hbf from 12 noon on 12 April 2026 until 12 noon on 18 May 2026. This affects the railway bridges over the ‘Alte Lübecker Chaussee’ and the road bridge on ‘Winterbeker Weg’ in Kiel-Hassee. During the construction work, the southern bridge over the Alte Lübecker Chaussee will be lifted into place and deep foundation work for the new bridge piers of the northern bridge will commence.

To minimise disruption to passengers in the future, the “Winterbeker Weg” road bridge over the railway tracks on the Kiel–Rendsburg line will be replaced at the same time. By combining the construction works, disruption to passenger services will be limited to a single period.

The section between Kiel Central Station and Kiel-Hassee CITTI-PARK will be closed from 12 noon on 12 April 2026 until 12 noon on 18 May 2026. No trains will run on this section during this period. A replacement bus service will be provided for passengers.

RE 72, Kiel–Eckernförde
RB 73, Kiel–Schleibrücke Süd
RE 74, Kiel–Schleswig–Husum
RB 75, Kiel–Rendsburg
