Find nearby stations with a click

The new ‘Find stations nearby’ feature now offers greater convenience, especially for commuters and other rail passengers who frequently search for up-to-date information on the same stations.

By sharing the location of the device being used, it is possible to call up the nearest stations more quickly than before while travelling, for example to read information about available lifts, shops that are open for shopping and eating, replacement service or similar.

But even rail passengers who are unfamiliar with the area, such as holidaymakers or business travellers in a foreign city, can benefit from this new feature. For example, passengers who do not know where the nearest station for their onward journey is located can use the feature to display the surrounding stations with a single click.

This eliminates the need for tedious typing, especially on smartphones. The feature also helps users who do not know the exact spelling of the station by suggesting stations directly in a list.
