From 21 September 26, the lift in the station building/Platform 1 will be out of service. In collaboration with the City of Freiberg, a new, larger lift is being built in a new location. In future, it will be situated on platform 1, right next to the staircase. Bicycles, prams and even a stretcher will then fit inside with ease.
During this period, the platform will not be accessible via the lift. Construction work is scheduled to be completed in spring 2027.
