We sincerely regret the repeated breakdowns and resulting inconvenience caused by the "Peoplemover" at Rummelsburg Betriebsbahnhof S-Bahn station.
Due to its special and rare design, the elevator is prone to malfunctioning and the procurement of spare parts and the availability of specialized staff are particularly difficult. This results in longer downtimes in the event of repairs.
In the meantime, we are actively working on finding a permanent and reliable solution. A decision is expected to be made in the second quarter of 2026, after which we will move quickly with further planning and implementation.
