The DB Lounge Hamburg Hauptbahnhof is located on the first floor of the main station on the north side of the tracks in the direction of the Wandelhalle by the shops. Barrier-free access is ensured by lifts.

How is the DB Lounge designed and furnished?

The DB Lounge has a comfort area with three zones: the bistro area, the quiet area and the work area.

For guests looking to relax, the quiet area with comfortable wing chairs is the perfect place to switch off.

The work area has practical workstations with high tables and plenty of power points for charging smartphones or laptops. Telephone booths provide privacy for calls.

Guests can use free Wi-Fi throughout the DB Lounge. Magazines and newspapers are also available. Large displays provide information on connecting trains.

This location also has a premium area that offers more exclusivity. Guests are offered a large counter in the bistro area, including a self-service buffet with hot and cold snacks and a barista service. Snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also served at seats in the premium area.

Who can access the DB Lounge?

There is a general ticket requirement for DB Lounges (day ticket for Deutsche Bahn long-distance services). Tickets are checked at reception using a scanner or by lounge staff. The ticket or the code from the BahnBonus app is required.

Access to DB Lounges is granted to BahnBonus customers and one accompanying person, holders of BahnCard 100 1st class and one accompanying person as well as travellers with a 1st class DB long-distance day ticket at the Flex fare. BahnBonus cardholders and accompanying persons also require a valid day ticket for long-distance journeys on Deutsche Bahn.

Access to the premium areas of the DB Lounges is only available to customers with a valid Platinum status level in conjunction with a DB long-distance ticket, holders of a BahnCard 100 1st class and travellers with a 1st class long-distance ticket at the Flex fare (except for tickets originating and terminating within the area of the respective transport association).

What internet access is available in the DB Lounge?

Free WLAN is available in the DB Lounge. To access the Internet, guests must select the 'DB Lounge' network, open the browser and accept the General Terms and Conditions. They can then connect to the Internet by clicking on the 'Lossurfen' button.
