Eight stations in and around Bremen have been fitted with new digital display screens, providing passengers and visitors at the stations with comprehensive information about their connections.
Travellers and visitors can find information on the platform via the modern display screens.
Digital display boards provide better information at Bremen’s railway stations
Bremen’s stations are embracing modern technology: at eight stations across the state of Bremen, new digital display boards provide reliable information on the next train services. Over the course of the coming year, a further four stations will be equipped with this technology.
What the new display technology offers:
- The easy-to-read, three-line monitors show passengers and visitors the departure times and destinations of at least the next two trains. In addition to the scheduled times, actual departure times are also displayed for the first time.
- Easy to use for everyone: special announcement buttons allow the information shown on the display to be read aloud.
- Digital station notices also provide information about planned deviations from the timetable.
Digital display boards have already been installed at the following stations in the state of Bremen: Bremen-Oberneuland, Neustadt, Hemelingen, Walle, Oslebshausen, Lesum, St. Magnus and Bremerhaven-Wulsdorf. Further upgrades are planned for Bremerhaven-Lehe, Bremen-Vegesack, Sebaldsbrück and Schönebeck.
