In future, new, modern regional trains will also be able to stop at the platform, which has been extended to 225 metres.

Construction work has begun at the station Dörverden. Over the course of a few months, the platforms will be gradually remodelled. By the summer, these are to be extended to 225 metres so that longer trains can also stop there in future, for example the new double-decker trains of the Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen (LNVG).

Due to the construction work taking place, there may be restrictions at the station for travellers and visitors. However, the construction work will mainly take place during night-time breaks in railway operations. However, this may result in disturbing noise for local residents. We ask for your understanding during the construction work and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
