The general renovation of the Hamburg-Berlin line will take place. The route will be completely closed. An efficient transport concept with diversions and replacement services will ensure that you can continue to reach your destination reliably during the route closure. How and where do you find the replacement stops?
Copy link to this sectionThe live departure and arrival times and the location of the replacement stop at a station can be viewed on the relevant station details page on bahnhof.de. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Find your desired station using the station search, then select it.
- On the displayed station details page, click on the ‘Live departure/arrival’ tile in the section ‘Travel info’ to obtain real-time information on departing and arriving transport at the station.
- Click on the ‘Replacment service’ tile to open a PDF with directions for alternative rail transport. This shows you the location of the replacement transport stop and the route to it.
