How are the DB Lounges equipped?
Copy link to this sectionIn the DB Lounges, there is a comfort area that consists of three zones: the bistro area, the rest area and the work area. In addition, some DB Lounges also offer a Premium area.
In the bistro area, the DB Lounge offers free hot and cold drinks for travellers and visitors to help themselves.
The quiet area of the DB Lounge is somewhat away for those who want to relax. In cosy seating, travellers can relax before continuing their journey.
Those who still want to work can use the DB Lounges' practical workstations with high tables and numerous power points for charging smartphones or laptops. For undisturbed telephone calls telephone booths are available.
In the premium area, guests can relax with free daily newspapers and magazines with hot and cold meals and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to pass the time.
These are served in a relaxed atmosphere at your seat. Large display boards for information and free WLAN round off the pleasant experience. The Premium area is also divided into a bistro area and a relaxation area.

Copy link to this sectionA general ticket requirement applies in the DB Lounges (daily ticket for Deutsche Bahn AG long distance rail transport). Tickets are checked at reception using a scanner or by the lounge staff. The ticket or the code from the BahnBonus app is required for this.
BahnBonus status customers and one person accompanying them, BahnCard 100 1st class holders and one person accompanying them as well as passengers with a daily DB long-distance ticket 1st class in the flexible fare are granted access to the DB Lounges. BahnBonus status customers and accompanying persons also require a valid ticket that entitles them to use Deutsche Bahn AG's long-distance rail transport services on a daily basis.
Access to the premium areas of the DB Lounges is only available to status customers with a valid Platinum status level in conjunction with a DB long-distance ticket, holders of a BahnCard 100 1st class ticket and travellers with a 1st class long-distance ticket with a flexible fare (except for tickets with departure and destination within the areas of the respective transport associations).
