What data do we collect?

How and why do we process your data? Video images are collected by means of bodycams. Bodycams are in use for the following purposes:

  • To protect the life, health and freedom of employees
    • To prevent criminal offences
      • To secure evidence when an incident occurs
        • To have data to transfer to the law enforcement agencies investigating criminal offences

          The legal basis for the processing of such data is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

          Legitimate interests include preventing criminal offences as well as protecting the life, health and freedom of employees and customers, and securing evidence when an incident occurs.

          Bodycams are currently only used by selected employees at the Hanau Hbf, Frankfurt (Main) Süd, Frankfurt (Main) Flughafen Fernbahnhof and Frankfurt (Main) Flughafen Regionalbahnhof stations. The collection of video image data for the aforementioned purposes shall only take place when predefined incidents occur.

          How long is your data stored?

          In the event of an incident, data shall be stored for 72 hours. The data shall be automatically deleted once this period expires.

          Is any data forwarded?

          Data shall be forwarded as required to law enforcement agencies, in particular to the German Federal Police.

          What rights do you have?

          You have the right to submit complaints to a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for DB InfraGO AG is:
