Video-based sales counters have been used throughout Germany since 2013. They enable personal, individual service using digital means, even at stations without staff on site.  More than 110 locations across Germany are already equipped with a video travel center.
Video travel centers are simple and intuitive to use. Using the call button, travelers and station visitors can easily connect to the service staff at the regional video center via video conference. They provide competent support for individual and regional concerns regarding Deutsche Bahn's long-distance and regional services. Possible travel connections can be planned via video conference, tickets can be purchased a well as information on offers and prices of Deutsche Bahn tickets can be obtained. Tickets, BahnCards and reservations can also be created directly via the video travel center and purchased via the payment terminal using cash, Girocard or credit card. Long opening hours allow travelers and visitors to make convenient use of the service.
