HBB-Store is a convenience store concept developed by Hamburger Bahnhofsbetriebe Basal GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg, which offers commuters and travelers at the train station a wide and fresh selection of items for their travels and daily needs. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, an afternoon coffee, or just a quick snack—you’ll always find something delicious to eat here.
Thanks to years of experience, we know what matters to our customers—sweet and savory foods for every time of day that are enjoyable and delicious. And, of course, there’s always something new to try. We make it quick, easy, and convenient to get everything you need in one place. Our “HBB Stores” offer fresh baked goods and snacks, specialty coffees, beverages, tobacco products, as well as baguettes with cheese, egg, or sausage, or baguettes topped with döner and gratinated with Gouda cheese.
As a thank-you for the friendly service and delicious food, our locations were awarded the “Silver French Fry Bag,” which ranks second in the entire state of North Rhine-Westphalia. What makes our HBB Store in Hagen special is the self-service station for hot beverages and a small corner with fresh flowers (pilot project).
Violence and assaults against children, women, and vulnerable people are a growing problem in our society. In response, HBB has raised awareness among its operators and employees and created a safe haven at train stations for people who feel threatened and need help, where they can receive assistance.
